Artist's Comments
This is a tribute to our first dog and my big love Cid. He was a leonberger and thanks to him "leons" will always stay my favourite breed.
Cid had the heart of gold, he was the greatest being I have ever known.
He was born on the 7th of October 1997 and died on the 20th of June 2007. Although he was suffering from cancer, he was playful and cuddly to the very end. He was lucky to die very quickly of the summer heath and not slowly of cancer.
Our family will never fully recover from this, we are still thinking of him.
